Passport North | Effective September 22, 2026
Passport North publishes travel information and recommendations. Some links on passportnorth.ca are affiliate links, which means Passport North may earn compensation when a visitor follows a link and completes a qualifying action.
How affiliate links work
When a visitor clicks an affiliate link, a partner may use cookies or similar technologies to recognize the referral. If the visitor later makes a purchase, reservation, or other qualifying transaction, Passport North may receive a commission or other benefit. Unless clearly stated otherwise, this does not increase the visitor’s price.
Material connections
Passport North will clearly disclose material connections to a brand, travel supplier, booking platform, or other partner. Disclosures will be placed where readers can notice and understand them before or near the relevant recommendation or affiliate link. A disclosure may use language such as:
This post contains affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, Passport North may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Editorial approach
Compensation does not guarantee positive coverage. Passport North aims to base recommendations on relevance, research, experience, or a reasonable assessment of the information available. Sponsored content, complimentary products or services, paid placements, and other material relationships will be identified when applicable.
No guarantee of price or suitability
Travel prices, availability, schedules, entry requirements, cancellation terms, and supplier policies can change without notice. An affiliate relationship is not a guarantee that a product, service, destination, or supplier will be suitable for every visitor. Visitors should verify current details directly with the provider and make independent decisions.
Third party transactions
Purchases and reservations made through external links are transactions between the visitor and the third-party provider. Passport North does not process those payments or control the provider’s inventory, fulfillment, refunds, security, or customer service unless expressly stated.
Advertising
Passport North may display advertising in addition to affiliate links. Advertising may be selected or measured by third-party advertising providers. The presence of an advertisement does not by itself mean that Passport North personally recommends or guarantees the advertiser.
Reader responsibility
Readers should consider their needs, budget, risk tolerance, accessibility requirements, and current official travel information before acting on any recommendation. Passport North encourages readers to compare options and review the terms of the relevant provider.
